In December of 2023 a group of survey respondents gathered in a warm Columbia Falls living room to talk about creating a makerspace. The next month during a cold snap in January of 2024 newly named organizers met again over zoom.
In these early meetings the group examined survey results, talked about what kind of space is desired and what kind of business structure would work best. Most importantly, a list of group values was written. Values to guide the group through decision making, communicating to potential partners, communicating internally, and shaping our core philosophy.
